Precise Infrared Detection

Thanks to its high-speed infrared technology, LapWiz reliably and accurately detects every passing lap. The standard transponder sends a signal approximately every 15 milliseconds, ensuring that even at high speeds no lap is missed.

Depending on the transponder used, the detection range is approximately 3 to 10 metres.

Easy Installation

No detection loops need to be installed in the track. The included aluminium stand allows the decoder to be positioned quickly and securely next to the track. Thanks to its adjustable design, the optimal detection angle can easily be set.

The included magnetic sun hood reduces the influence of direct sunlight and also helps maintain a stable infrared connection when used outdoors.

Instant Race Feedback

Clear LED indicators provide immediate information about the system status:

• Flashing blue LED: connected to the smartphone
• Flashing white LED: new lap registered

This allows both drivers and spectators to see what is happening at a glance.

Multiple Cars Supported

LapWiz supports simultaneous lap timing for multiple cars, making it ideal for club races and events.
