Eighteen months of development went into the SP2. The DNA of the SP1 has been retained, but everything around the concept has been re-engineered. This is the aluminium specification: a 1.5 mm thick 7075-T6 aluminium plate that places the weight low and centrally in the car. This creates a calmer initial response and widens the setup window on tracks that change throughout the day.

All three chassis variants use the same 110° steel screws, making it easy to switch between the different chassis while keeping your spare parts inventory simple.

Suspension

• XS shocks and springs for reduced unsprung weight and faster handling response
• Coaxial shock and pushrod geometry for smoother operation, less play and a lower moment of inertia
• Shock body mounted directly to the bulkhead for reduced friction and unsprung weight

Sway Bars

• Ultra-lightweight, ball-raced and adjustable from above
• Lowest possible centre of gravity with a minimal number of components
• Compatible with 1.0–1.3 mm sway bars, with front and rear components fully interchangeable

Hubs, Steering & ARS

• Lowered axle height for a wider ride-height tuning window
• Oversized 6×11×4 mm inner bearing for increased durability and reduced play
• Optimised scrub radius for a more aggressive steering response
• 8.0 mm steering rack with optional steering lock stoppers and a lengthened rear toe link
• Low-CG one-piece servo mount with enlarged locating pins
• Direct mounting for analogue and digital caster tools, with integrated aero disc option

Bulkheads, Motor Mount & Top Deck

• 4 mm raised top deck mounting for more rigid and progressive chassis flex
• Raised diff and spool position for increased corner speed and improved driveability
• FL/RR and FR/RL bulkheads are interchangeable, reducing the number of spare parts you need to carry
• Motor raised by 0.5 mm for more material under the motor pocket
• Screw-in steel layshaft with laser-etched belt tension positions
• Adjustable front and rear belt tensioners included; optional centre tensioner available for Modified
• Cuttable top deck tabs for precise flex adjustment

Drivetrain

• Threaded aluminium diff halves with optimised gear spacing
• Larger driveshaft bearings without couplers for reduced friction and wear
